Afghan Mukhtarly kidnapped from Georgia and brought to Baku
Baku/30.05.17/Turan: Journalist and activist Afgan Mukhtarly, who was missing in Georgia, was taken to Baku, Turan was informed by his lawyer Neymat Kerimli at 6:00 pm on March 30.
"Ten minutes ago, Afghan called me and said that he is in the central department of the State Border Service, I am now going there," said the lawyer. Kerimli called the kidnapping of Mukhtarly and his secret delivery to Azerbaijan a violation of international norms. According to him, the Georgian authorities should not extradite him, because according to international norms, if a person is threatened with arrest at home, he cannot be extradited, the lawyer stressed.-1606D--
