Azerbaijan has started the execution of amnesty, which will affect several thousand people, but bypass political prisoners.
According to the act of amnesty, it will affect those convicted of crimes that do not pose great danger to society, women convicted of less serious crimes, those who at the time of the crime was not 18, those who have reached 60 years of age, and others.
The authorities timed the amnesty to June 15 - the day when they celebrate the return of Heydar Aliyev to Baku from Nakhchivan. -02D-
