Assistance is provided to flood victims in 2010 in Salyan region
Two and a half years after the repair and reconstruction of homes of people affected by flooding in 2010 and the distribution of compensation began in the Salyan region.
Each of the 68 families receive compensation in the amount of 5.000 – 7.000 AZN for a total of 350,000 manat, Turan was told by the head of the NGO "Democracy Assistance" Emil Mammadov. According to him, people are satisfied with the help. However, this aid is given on the results of monitoring carried out in the summer of 2011 conducted by the Ministry for Emergency Situations.
It is not known when the assistance will be provided to people whose destroyed homes were inspected in March this year. -06D-
