Banned religious literature found in the houses of Gabalainhabitants
Baku/13.09.17/Turan: During the joint operation of the employees of the State Security Service of Azerbaijan and the employees of the Gabalaregional police department, prohibited religious literature, electronic carriers of the same content and cold armwere found. According to the Interior Ministry, during a search in homes of suspects of propaganda of religious radicalism local residents BakhruzGasimov and Elman Tairov, were found banned religious literature, 11 video and audio cassettes, 14 CDs and cold handmade steel arm. Gasimov and Tairov were taken to the police department, where they gave their testimony. Seized material evidence was sent to the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations for examination.-05D06-

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.

During the operation of the Main Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 5 members of an organized group engaged in drug trafficking were detained. All of them have previous convictions: Bahlul Ismayilov, Royal Aliyev, Khayal Aliyev, Samir Aghayev, and Ali Mammadli.
