Baku / 04.09.18 / Turan: A border guard Alyannur Suleymanov died at the border crossing point Shykhly at the Azerbaijani-Georgian border in the evening of September 3, the State Border Service of Azerbaijan said.
According to the same source, a Georgian citizen L. Azhevanidze, who was driving a truck, lost control and crashed into the gate of the checkpoint. As a result, a serviceman of the State Border Service, Alyannur Suleymanov born in 1994, was killed. In addition, a car was damaged, and the two citizens who were in it were injured.
Azhevanidze was detained and taken to the police of the Gazakh region. The investigation is under way, the report said. -02D-
