Criminal Case Started in Connection with Schoolgirl�s Death
Baku / 08.04.19 / Turan: The Baku city prosecutor"s office launched a criminal case on the death of an 8th grade schoolgirl in school number 162 in the Sabail district of Baku, which threw herself out of the third floor of the school.
The investigation is carried out under Art. 125 (bringing to suicide) of the Criminal Code, the joint report by the city Prosecutor's Office and the Baku Education Department says.
The incident occurred on April 4. The girl with injuries was placed in the city clinical center, where she died on April 6.
The Baku Education Department, for its part, conducts an internal investigation.
Earlier, the teenager"s mother said that her daughter had been harassed by other schoolchildren, and she accused the school authorities of this. -03D06-
