Customs Stop Mobile Phone Smuggling
Baku / 10.16.18 / Turan: During the customs inspection of a Toyota Prado car at the Gyrmyzy Korpu (Red Bridge) checkpoint on October 15, 240 mobile phones were discovered. The undeclared product was attempted to be brought to Azerbaijan from Georgia by a citizen, Zhala Almammadova.
According to the statement of the State Customs Committee, before the inspection, the driver of the car, Azerbaijani citizen Almammadova, stated that she didn"t have any items hidden from customs control. The fact is under investigation. --06D--
