Defense Ministry: 7 Armenian and 3 Azeri Soldiers Killed in Intense Fighting
On the night from 27 to 28 September at the line of contact between Armenian and Azerbaijani forces there was an artillery duel, which killed 7 Armenian and 3 Azeri military men.
As stated in the press service of the Defense Ministry, the Azerbaijani side made a pre-emptive strike on the Armenian positions and technology clusters in the hinterland. Manpower and equipment of the enemy was severely damaged. Nothing was reported on what part of the front or the direction it took place.
During heavy fighting with the enemy in different parts of the front three Azerbaijani soldiers were killed - Rauf Veliyev, Neman Ahmadzadeh and Zohrab Mustafazadeh.
The Azerbaijani Armed Forces take the necessary measures to prevent actions of the Armenian side, the report says.
The Armenian side has not yet commented on the situation. -03D-
