Due to Explosion on Pipeline Disruptions Occur in Gas Supply in Absheron
The explosion and fire at the gas pipeline in the Garadagh district imposes restrictions in the supply of gas on the Absheron peninsula, SOCAR said.
The fire occurred today at 9:55 at a 1,000 millimeter gas pipeline leading from the gas plant to the Sangachal settings.
In order to extinguish the fire, this line is localized and fuel routed through an alternative pipeline. Fire brigades immediately arrived at the scene with the due technical means. The necessary measures for fire-fighting are carried out, and restrictions in the supply of gas are going to be canceled. -06D--
