Facing the houses causes big problem for drivers
The city authorities continue cleaning up the old lining and coating of new residential buildings with stone tiles. The works continue day and night with the involvement of a large number of technicians and workers. Firefighters and other services are on duty. Such concentration of people and technology, creates serious problems for drivers, traffic jams, and often emergency situations.
However, the traffic police is trying to take the advantage of the situation, and on the roads and catch "violators." One such place is the intersection of Prospect "Metbuat" and St. Ayna Sultanova (opposite publishing house "Azerbaijan".)
Cars coming from the "Metbuat" avenue cannot see the temporary sign prohibiting a right turn. It cannot be seen because of fire trucks of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) that cover the sign. At the same time, on the asphalt is left the arrow - straight and turn right.
Traffic police are watching drivers turning right, and fines them 60 manat, ignoring completely logical assertion that the sign "turn prohibited" simply is not seen. Although, according to the Road Traffic Act, the sign must be visible at 50 meters. Drivers are not surprised by such behavior of traffic police, but such unceremonious violation of their rights is causes indignation. -02В-
