Fatima Movlanly Reports Her Abduction and Five-Day Detention in Main Department for Combating Organized Crime
Baku / 15.04.18 / Turan: The civil activist Fatima Movlanly stated on Facebook at night on April 14 that she was abducted and taken to the Main Department for Combating Organized Crime (MDCOC) on March 31, where she spent 5 days.
She noted she could not say this earlier for certain reasons.
Fatima Movlanly said she was arrested for participating in the Recognize a Dictator action, and during the detention in the MDCOC she was asked to give false testimony against a number of people that she refused to do.
She thanked for the public support that allowed her to return her freedom and gain some protection.
Fatima Movlanly said she would continue her struggle despite the threat of her arrest. -0--
