Fines for the release of waste in the wrong place
President Ilham Aliyev approved changes to the Code of Administrative Offences, adopted by Parliament on June 12. The amendments relate to measures of responsibility for emission of wastes not in the right place. Thus, for the release of waste out of landfills (garbage bins) individuals will be charged a penalty in the amount of 20 manat, officers will have to pay 100 manat, and legal entities will be fined at 500 manat.
At the same time, officials and legal entities will be penalized for non-compliance with the laws of the distances between the garbage bins (landfills). Officers will be fined at 100 manat, and legal entities will have to pay 1,000 manat. -06D-
