Three passenger cars collided near the railway station of Gabala city (210 km north-west of Baku) on Saturday evening. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that five foreign tourists were injured as a result.
One child born in 2005 died. The other four were hospitalized in a district hospital in serious condition. The condition of one of them, born in 1999, remains critical.
On 16 June morning he was transported by helicopter to a specialised clinic in Baku.
No information about the names of the victims and their nationality is reported.
