Javid Gurbanov Heads Azerbaijan Railways
President Ilham Aliyev has carried out personnel changes in the transport sector. He freed Arif Askerov from the post of head of CJSC Azerbaijani Railways, appointing him Deputy Minister of Transport.
He appointed Javid Gurbanov as Head of the Azerbaijani Railway. The man occupied the post of head of JSC Azeryolservis Department of Transportation before. The agency is engaged in the construction and maintenance of highways.
