Activities to eliminate the consequences of the pandemic and hopes for state support of illegally working citizens are the topics of today's media.
The newspaper Azerbaijan writes about activities to overcome the consequences of the Corona Virus pandemic. The action plan covers three areas - economic growth and entrepreneurship support, employment and social welfare, macroeconomic and financial stability.
Material assistance will be provided to 300 thousand wage workers working under an employment contract. Significant tax breaks will also be made. An amnesty for capital and property is assumed.
The Azadliqinfo website is discussing with the expert Gubad Ibadoglu the situation with the financial support of entrepreneurs. He claims that about 600 entrepreneurs will be left without state aid.
Micro entrepreneurs will be paid 266 manat, but this will affect those who paid taxes and state social insurance in 2019. There are 300 thousand of them.
However, the amount paid will not cover the damage caused to entrepreneurs. Ibadoglu also recalls that as of July 1, 2019, the number of entrepreneurs who did not create a legal entity exceeded 880 thousand people.
The website Qaynarinfo.az discusses the provision of state assistance to workers without an employment contract. In the near future, the President will sign another package of assistance for people who are not registered at the Employment Center. This will apply to the unemployed and those who work for daily bribes. In addition, compensation will be paid and working informally.
