The deputy believes that the country's economy should not depend on oil, but on the non-oil sector. Attention should be focused on the development of agriculture, industry and tourism. The deputy also advised the Cabinet of Ministers to prepare reports of not 350-400 pages, but to write more specifically and briefly about the work done and the intended work.
The website Azpolitika.info writes about the serious problems that await the new Prime Minister Ali Asadov. The author believes that, first of all, transparency should be ensured, the financial and banking sector should be improved, the monopoly, the weight of oligarch officials in business and so on should be eliminated. Without all this, it will be impossible to attract investments into the country, to stop the leakage of capital from the country.

Last night, three earthquakes occurred along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border with magnitudes of 4.8, 3.0, and 3.8, according to the Republican Center for Seismological Service of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported no information about any destruction or casualties as a result of the earthquakes.
