The newspaper "Azerbaijan" writes about the production of electricity in the country. According to the new report of the Davos World Economic Forum, Azerbaijan ranks second in the world in terms of accessibility of electricity. At a meeting on October 15, President Ilham Aliyev also spoke about electricity production. In 15 years, 31 new stations were built, new capacities of 2500 megawatts were created. Most imports are from Russia, Turkey, Switzerland, China, USA, Germany, Canada, Iran, Ukraine. Imports from the CIS countries over nine months of this year totaled 2 billion 426 million 870 thousand dollars.
The site "Modern.az" writes about the need to eliminate bureaucratic business from the sphere of entrepreneurship. Deputy Ali Masimli believes that the potential of the non-oil sector is not used enough. It is necessary to intensify the struggle against monopolism, corruption and bureaucratic arbitrariness, "protection", to remove all obstacles that hinder free competition, free enterprise, it is necessary to deepen reforms. -0-
