Ministry of Education on Coronavirus in Schools
Baku / 22.09.20 / Turan: Eight teachers of the Gamgam secondary school of the Guba region became infected with the coronavirus and the school process was suspended. The reason for the mass infection is non-observance of social distance and non-use of protective masks, the Ministry of Education said.
In all schools in the country, the body temperature is measured at the entrances of students and teachers and with an indicator above 37.1 degrees they are not allowed to enter the educational institution.
As of September 21, the number of students and teachers with temperatures above 37.1 in Baku was 21, and in the regions - 29 people.
Since the beginning of the school year, COVID-19 has been detected in 95 students and 26 teachers. Most of the infected students are high school students.
The Ministry of Education calls on schoolchildren, their parents and teaching staff to comply with the requirements of social distance and sanitary and hygienic rules, it was reported. -02D-
