Ministry of Environment: June to Be Hotter Than Usual
Baku / 05/01/19 / Turan: According to the Ministry of Environment of Azerbaijan, June this year will be hotter than the climate norm by 4-6 degrees.
Temperature increases will be particularly sensitive during the first decade of the month.
In Baku and Absheron, on certain days of the month, the temperature will rise to +36 degrees (4 degrees above the norm).
In Nakhchivan, the maximum will be +39 degrees (5 degrees above the norm).
In the foothills and mountainous regions of the Lesser Caucasus, the air will warm up to +36 degrees.
In the foothills and mountain areas of the Greater Caucasus, the maximum will be +35.
In the central lowlands, the maximum will be +39 degrees (5 degrees above normal).
In the Southern region, the maximum will be +35, which is also 5 degrees higher than the climatic norm.
At the same time, rainfall in June will be close to normal. -02D-
