New Investigation Team to Investigate Kidnapping of Elshad Abdullayev"s Brother
On the decision of the Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov, a new investigative team will investigate a criminal case in connection with the loss of 13 October 2003 of Mahir Abdullayev - brother of the former rector of the private International University Elshad Abdullayev and other facts.
According to the press service of the Prosecutor General's decision to create a new investigative team was taken after treatment Abdullayev to President Ilham Aliyev.
The investigation team is headed by Senior Assistant Attorney General Elmar Jamalov.
At the same time, according to the law "On state protection of persons involved in the criminal process" of 1998, in the case of visiting Azerbaijan by Abdullayev, he will be ensured personal safety, as a victim.
Recall that the previous investigation did not find Mahir Abdullayev. In this regard, Elshad Abdullayev accused law enforcement agencies in the reluctance to find him.
He also claimed that his brother was kidnapped by an organized criminal group made up of law enforcement officers for ransom. However, paying a lot of money a few times, Abdullayev did not achieve liberation of his brother and was unable to find out his destiny. -06D-
