Participants in the "Formula 1" will develop  up to 340 km  speed in Baku

 The Baku stage of motor racing "Formula 1" by its nature is similar to the competition Grand Prix in Singapore, Monaco and Melbourne.  Just like in these cities, the race will take place on a temporary track in the city, said today at the  seminar for journalists  the manager of the Operating Company Baku City Circuit (BCC) Ayan Agayeva.  The ring route races will total  six km on the central streets of Baku: from  ​​the "Azadlig" square the route will pass through the streets of Pushkin, Khagani avenue Bulbul, Zarifa Aliyeva Street, Avenue of Neftiyannikov, Aziz Aliyev Street ( "Zevin"), further along the narrow alley along the walls of Icheri Sheher to the Youth Square, street Istiglaliyyet further down the street, Niyazi,  and again along the  Avenue of Neftyannikov to the  Azadlig Square.

The riders will make a range of 51 to 20 bends of varying complexity, developing a maximum speed of 340 km. per hour.

The pavement of cobblestones at the Philharmonic building will be covered with special flooring, which will be covered by asphalt. Throughout the route will be  established nine  stands for 30,000 spectators (19,500 seated.)

Tickets will be valid for three days of competition, and  these tickets allow the attendance of concerts and other entertainment events in the "Formula 1".

"Grand Prix of Europe in Baku will be the most unique event in the history of Azerbaijan  on many aspects. Baku route will be the fastest among the urban races and will be broadcast for  500-millionth TV audience all over the world," said the press secretary of the competition Nigar Arpadarai.

Studies show that during the "Formula 1", the flow of tourists increases by 40%.

Arpadarai did not disclose the budget of the competition, citing the absence of such information.

Sports commentator Rahim Aliyev,  noted that due to the competition "Formula 1" of the city streets are covered with asphalt  designed for high speed. According to him, on the construction of a garage for cars and storage of auxiliary and administrative infrastructure on Azadlig Square will be spent around $30 million. Competitions will be held  on June 17-19 with participation of 11 teams and 22 drivers.

Baku stage will be the 8th among 21 competition Grand Prix "Formula-1" in 2016.-06C-
