PFPA activist detained for solitary picket
Baku / 11.10.19 / Turan: On October 11, police detained Tofig Mammadov, an activist of the Popular Front Party, for a single picket near the Inshaatchilar metro station.
A young man stood on the street with a banner urging not to deprive him of the opportunity to make in small business. "For a long time now, the police have forbidden him petty trade because of his political views. It was for this reason that he held a protest ", reads the statement of the PFPA.
The detainee was taken to the Yasamal police. The police do not give official information about the reason for the detention of the activist. -21B-
