Polad Aslanov hospitalized on the 19th day of the hunger strike
Baku/24.01.22/Turan: Polad Aslanov, who is on a hunger strike for the 19th day, was hospitalized on Monday at the Medical Institution of the Penitentiary Service. It happened after he fell in the morning in jail N1.
According to his wife Gulmira Aslanova, Polad fell during praying, after which, on the recommendation of doctors, the jail's leadership decided to hospitalize him.
The head of this institution, Mail Mammadov, strongly recommended ending the hunger strike, since Aslanov's health had seriously deteriorated.
“The doctor said that Polad is under observation, but if there is a threat of coma, the doctors will start forced feeding,” Aslanova said.
She also visited her husband in the hospital and asked him to stop the action, but he refused.
