Baku / 22.01.18 / Turan: The Rapid Response Regiment revealed 7.7% more crimes and administrative violations in 2017 than a year earlier. This was stated at the meeting on the results of 2017 by the commander of the Rapid Response Regiment Zaur Abdullayev.
According to him, last year, the Regiment's employees detained 30,667 people, including 821 people who committed various crimes, and 29,846 who committed administrative violations. Of these, 300 were detained for hooliganism, 21 for robbery, 49 for fraud, 90 for drugs, 24 for committing other crimes, and 80 people were wanted.
1,166 people were found and handed over to the police for petty hooliganism, 2,899 - for vagrancy and begging, and 1,587 people for breaking public order. In comparison with the previous period, the number of crimes and administrative misconduct detected increased by 7.7%.
The meeting was attended by then Minister of Internal Affairs, Ramil Usubov, who highly appreciated the annual activities of the Regiment. -0-
