The death toll in road accident has grown
Baku / 03.05.18 / Turan: In January-March 2018, 162 people died in road accidents in Azerbaijan, 343 others were injured, State Statistical Office reported on May 3.
Compared with the same period last year, the number of victims increased (there were 136). The number of wounded, decreased (was 328). 80.9% of the dead and 79.0% of the wounded are men.-05D-

During search and operational activities, on January 30 at 11:20, 16.4 kg of drugs were discovered and seized in the area of the "Geytapa" border post, located on the Iran-Azerbaijan border. According to the Azerbaijan Border Service, this prevented an attempt to smuggle into Azerbaijan 11.3 kg of marijuana, 5.1 kg of opium, and 1,990 methadone M-40 pills from Iran.
