After the earthquake in Khatai province a giant ravine was formed
After the February 6 earthquake in Turkey, in the province of Hatay, a crack formed in the village of Tepehan, dividing a 35-hectare olive orchard into two parts.
This is a giant ravine 30 meters deep and 200 meters wide. It was observed from the air with a drone.
Some residents said they heard a strong explosion sound during the quake and saw a green light in the area.
One of the residents of the area said: “There was a strong explosion, I heard the sound. When I came here in the morning, I saw these ruins. Prior to this, the field was flat. I don't know how this could happen," he said.
Another local resident said that after the explosion, green smoke came from here.
Drone footage filmed in Khatai showed the magnitude of the terrible earthquake. The center of the city, where more than three thousand buildings were destroyed.
