Imagine Festival of Tolerance Ended in Baku
Baku / 22.05.18 / Turan: The Delegation of the European Union to Azerbaijan announced the completion of the second Imagine festival of tolerance.
At the final press conference, it was reported that 37 films from 12 countries were shown during the festival, three concerts were held, master classes and debates were organized with the participation of film directors and musicians.
During the festival, discussions were organized for students of the ADA University on the subject of tolerance with the participation of special guests at the University of Ca Foscari in Venice.
The concerts in the framework of the festival were unique from the point of view of the synthesis of Azerbaijani mugham with Bolivian-Peruvian music, as well as the synthesis of mugham with Greek music.
Speaking at the event, the head of the department for political and social affairs and public relations of the EU representation in Azerbaijan Denis Daniilidis noted that the organizers have plans to turn the festival into an annual event and the goal is to unite under the idea of tolerance.
It was reported that this year the events of the festival were attended by about 4 thousand people, which is 30% more than last year. -71D-
