Azerbaijan on Incoming Internet Traffic Rose to 110th Place
Azerbaijan in the ranking of traffic NetIndex of the company Ookla as of Monday, August 27, has become the 107th in the world. Early last week, it was on the 110th position. According to the index of Internet quality the country ranks the 98th place (compared to the previous Monday, no changes).

In Baku, the rate is 3.28 Mbit / s, in Masazir - 2.93 in Sumgayit - 2.69 Mb / s. Among the areas on the map, you can find Jalilabad and Goychay - 2.37 and 2.27 Mbit / s, and Sheki - 2.46 Mb/s.
Chosen for the experiment were 282,487 unique IP-addresses. The study is based on the statistics of 20 local Internet service providers and telecom operators, mainly "fixated" on Baku. At the following locations after the company recorded AZERTELECOM Eurosel LLC and Az.StarNet LLC, which, respectively, 8.25 and 4.74 Mbit / s. Completing twenty Aztelekom - 2,34 Mbit / s, SMART SISTEMZ TECHNOLOJI MMM - 2,57 Mbit / s and Baktelekom - 2,22 Mbit / s.
Among the mobile operators marked was the incoming traffic of Azercell Telecom LLC - 3.10 Mbit / s.
The rating for the outgoing traffic statistics also includes 20 local Internet service providers and telecom operators, whose networks for the period of the study registered the maximum speed of outgoing traffic at 17.21 Mbit / s (network AZERTELECOM), and the minimum speed - 0 47 Mbit / s (Azerbaijan Data Network). - 17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
