Azerbaijan will get access to the world science
Azerbaijan will take advantage of the cooperation of the oldest publishing house in the world.
This became known after the announcement of the outcome of the meeting the Minister of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan Ali Abbasov, who is on a visit to Baku, the head of the Dutch publishing company Elsevier, Yongsunk Chi.
According to a local official, the country has already laid the groundwork for the transition to a knowledge-based economy, and for the progress of e-science attaches great importance to cooperation with influential international digital libraries, such as Elsevier.
This company, according to its director, owns approximately 25% of the world market of scientific publishing, the company owns such scientific information databases like ScienceDirect, Scopus, SciVal. The science base Elsevier, can be used as a great source of information in the future activities of Azerbaijani scientists and their research.
