Azerqarant Sigorta succeeded in partnership obligations
Insurance Company Azerqarant Sigorta made a net profit of 425.46 thousand manats (2.4% compared to last year).
According to the company's financial statements, the auditor's report confirmed that, last year, the company's revenues amounted to 1 million 996.12 thousand manats. Including premiums totaled AZN 607.22 thsd, investment income - 341.45 thsd AZN, income from reinsurance - 1.1 million manat. Other income for the year was received in other areas.
The company's expenses last year totaled 1 million 464.3 thousand manats. Among these a great part is the amount of insurance payments - AZN 467.52 thsd, conducting insurance business - 859.76 thousand manats and so on.
According to the report, supported by the auditor's report, last year the company's assets increased by 7.9% - up to 6 million 720 thousand manats, equity - by 6.6% - up to 5 million 995.97 thousand manats, liabilities - by 20% - up to 724.07 thousand manats.
In addition, last year the volume of deposits placed in banks increased by 12.8% - to 3.65 mln AZN. Before-tax profit amounted to 531.82 thousand manats.
The company Azerqarant Sigorta was recorded in November 1997, in 2008, and obtained a license for a period of 5 years.
Its founder is one individual.
The registered capital is 5.61 million manat.
The company provides 24 types of insurance activities, including 3 obligatory and 21 voluntary.

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN.
