Baku hosts exhibition "Caspian: Technologies for the Environment" CTE 2013
Today at the exhibition complex "Baku Expo Center" opened the 4th International Exhibition of Environmental Protection, "The Caspian: Technologies for the Environment " CTE 2013. Comprehensive exhibition presents innovative developments in the field of environmental protection and natural resource management.
The exhibition is organized by Iteca Caspian and its partner, the British company ITE Group plc.
This year, the STE takes 60 companies from Azerbaijan, Germany, Italy, Spain, Kazakhstan, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Russia and other countries. The aim of the exhibition is the promotion and implementation in Azerbaijan innovative environmental equipment and technologies that will help to conserve natural resources and improve the quality of life of the population.
Much attention is paid to CTE by the government agencies: the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Azerbaijan Republic and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, JSC "Temiz Sheher" JSC Azersu , the State Agency for Alternative and Renewable Energy , State AGP, Baku Cartographic Factory, Research and Production center of State land Monitoring of the Azerbaijan Republic, State Planning Institute of Land Management and others. This year new companies make up 30 % of the total number of participants. The list of this year's newcomers includes Germany (GEA Westfalia), France (Oxyzo), Spain (Atarfil), Italy (Innoveox), Kazakhstan (Intertech Corporation), Turkey (IlBank), and the Czech Republic (Antres-Azv).

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
