The official press published the criteria for extension of construction permits based on the decision of the Cabinet of Azerbaijan.
According to the document, which came into force on July 5, the government's decision applies to the objects, construction of which was started 3 years ago or suspended during the last 3 years.
Renewals of permits for construction is possible due to decisions of permissive or controlling authority. Suspending the construction is, in particular, decided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations and local executive authorities.
Renewal of a permit requires its holder a special appeal to the authority which issued the document for 60 days before the expiry of its validity. Renewals will be valid for 1 year. --17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
