Circle of Legal Persons Carrying out Functions of Public Importance Defined
It took the Cabinet of Ministers nine months to ensure that "The list of legal entities that perform functions of public importance" is approved, although when signing the decree on the implementation of the Law of AR "On citizens' applications” on 12 November 2015, the President gave the government three months to resolve the issue.
According to the promulgated decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of September 1, citizens 'applications to the subjects mentioned below will be considered in compliance with the Law "On citizens' applications”:
- Public entities, public organizations and foundations, religious organizations, credit organizations, insurance companies, investment funds, telecommunications companies, postal enterprises, legal entities whose securities are traded on the stock market, transport companies operating regular passenger and freight transportation , and the media acting as a legal entity.
Note that, according to the law "On citizens' applications”, response to the complaints of citizens has to be provided within 15 days and in case of need for their investigation – within 30 days. -----08D
