Coast in Shuvalan Cleared of Debris
An environmental action dedicated to the International Day of cleanliness in coastal areas, will be held in Baku on 22 September. The project is supported by Coca-Cola worldwide. The Shuvalan coast on Apsheron will be cleared of debris on this project.
Volunteers, representatives of public and private organizations that provide support to the project including the National Olympic Committee, Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy, AMEC, Club "Green Baku", Club "Friends of Nature" will gather for this initiative.
International Day of cleanliness in the coastal zones is the world's largest one-day volunteer action, in order to clean the beaches, inland waters and oceans of garbage and refuse.
Commenting on the initiative, Sales Manager, Coca-Cola Habil Akhmedov said: "We encourage everyone to take part in this action and to contribute to the preservation of the purity of the Caspian coast."
The event will be held under the slogan "Pick. Cleanse. Experience the difference! ".
On the part of Coca-Cola, the action participants will be provided with transportation, T-shirts with the company logo, cold drinks, food, and materials necessary to clean the beach area.
Azerbaijan Coca-Cola Bottlers Limited was founded in 1994. The production capacity of the company is 20 million dal in a year. The capital invested in the Azerbaijani economy reached $ 100 million. - 08D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
