Detainee Seized Over Six Kilograms of Gold Bars
During the personal inspection of a citizen of Azerbaijan, traveling to Iran through the customs post Gosha Tepe in Bilasuvar, the customs administration revealed 3 gold bars of Sample 585, weighing 6 kg 331.2 g.
According to the press service of the State Customs Committee, the suspicious person was checked on the operational information obtained.
The ingots were hidden in a specially prepared place. The investigation is underway.
Currently, demand for gold products in Azerbaijan has decreased. Therefore, export of gold from the country has intensified, including illegal means. -----08D

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN.
