During 11 months, 2013 volume of tank gas in Azerbaijan increased by 3.2%
From January to November 2013 Azerbaijan extracted 16.2 billion cub.m. of tank gas, reads the report of the Azerbaijan State Statistical Committee.
Tank gas production increased by 3.2% against the same period last year.
In January 2013 gas production totalled 1.5 billion cub.m., in February – 1.4 billion cub.m., in March – 1.45 billion cub.m., in April – 1,548 billion cub.m., in May – 1.5 billion cub.m., in June – 1.5 billion cub.m., in July – 1.4 billion cub.m., in August – 1.4 billion cub.m., in September – 1.4 billion cub.m., in October – 1.5 billion cub.m. and in November – 1.6 billion cub.m.
During 2012 Azerbaijan extracted 17.2 billion cub.m. of tanks gas., up 5.4% against 2011.—0—

Rashad Huseynov has been appointed as the new director of the Center for Agricultural Research under the Ministry of Agriculture, replacing Firdousi Fikretzade who led the center since 2019. Fikretzade stepped down from his position on June 10 at his own request.

Since July 1, bus and metro fares have increased by 10 qəpik, reaching 50 qəpik. The fare for buses on the Baku-Sumgayit route has risen from 60 qəpik to 70 qəpik. However, it is reported that there has been no improvement in service quality following the price increase. According to complaints, air conditioners are not working on buses operating in the periphery, and overcrowding persists.
