Foreign Assets of Local Banks Growing
As of January 1, Azerbaijan's private banks had foreign liabilities in the amount of $ 4 billion 985,700,000 manat (+ 20.4% for the fiscal cycle). According to the report of the CBA, the largest increase in liabilities was observed in December - 3.45%.
Most of all grew foreign assets of local banks (+ 37.2%), which reached 3 billion 153,100,000 manat.
Recall the external liabilities of banks are formed from loans and deposits from non-residents, as well as securities placed in foreign institutions. --17D-
