From January to July Azerigas supplied with gas 125 settlements
From January to July 2016 Azerigas, gas distribution company of SOCAR, has supplied with gas 125 settlements, SOCAR reported.
“During this period 6,681 km of new gas pipelines have been laid and 197.5 km of gas pipelines have been repaired to expand capacities of the gas transportation network and supply the settlements with gas. As a result of the done works, from January to May 125 settlements have been supplied with gas,” said the same source.
The works were a part of the state program of socio-economic development of Azerbaijani regions from 2014 to 2018 and the state program of socio-economic development of Baku’s suburbs from 2014 to 2016.
In 2015 Azerigas supplied with gas 430 settlements.—0—

Data on Azerbaijan's oil exports for January-October 2024 reveals a significant drop in both volume and value compared to the same period last year, highlighting the challenges facing the oil-dependent economy. The country exported 495,484.05 tons of oil products worth $309.02 million, a decrease of 40.3% in value and 40.7% in volume compared to 2023, when exports totaled 925,225.07 tons worth $572.21 million.
