
SOCAR increased number of petrol stations in Azerbaijan up to 22
SOCAR Petroleum closed-type joint stock company (JSC), SOCAR’s daughter company, has increased number of petrol stations under SOCAR brand name in Azerbaijan up to 22.
A source from the company said that the new petrol station was launched in Shamakha city on August 5.
The station has POS terminals for cashless payment and automatic system of control over fuel sale and condition of the reservoirs.
In addition to the station, during 2016 SOCAR Petroleum plans to launch another petrol station in Shamakha city to expand its network of the petrol stations.
SOCAR Petroleum was established in January 2008 for retail sale of oil products to expand a network of petrol stations under SOCAR brand name. The company opened the first petrol station in Azerbaijan in May 2010.
The company sells six types of fuel at the petrol station: AI-95 Premium, which is up to Euro-4 standard, AI-92 (Euro 2), AI-98 Super (Euro 5), liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and diesel fuel.
Currently SOCAR’s petrol stations in Azerbaijan number 60 employees.—0—
