From Now on Customs Declarations to Be Accepted in Electronic Manner
From today (4 May) clearance of goods and vehicles will be carried out via e-declaration system. Turan was told in the State Customs Committee.
Provision of customs declarations not in paper, but in the electronic form, is intended to simplify procedures, to ensure transparency of customs services, to create favorable conditions for entrepreneurs, as well as the promotion of foreign trade.
At the same time, SCC warns participants of foreign trade that they are "directly responsible" for the correct filling of declarations.
The electronic declaration system operates in the following order: a declaration is signed by the "electronic signature" and is sent to the customs authority. The customs authority confirms its acceptance. After that, the document receives legal status. Change in the declaration is not allowed. ---08D
