Greek premier to visit Azerbaijan to lobby TAP project
Greek Premier Antonis Samaras will visit Azerbaijan in the near future to safeguard security of the TAP deal. The date of the visit is unknown yet, but there is a good chance that Samaras will visit Baku after his trip to China on May 14-18, reported TO BHMA newspaper.
Greek Foreign Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos and his Deputy Dimitris Kurkulas visited Baku on April 29 and 30 and met with the Azerbaijani officials. Greek diplomats have also met with Azerbaijani Premier Artur Rasizada. They mainly negotiated the energy issues, Trans-Adriatic pipeline (TAP) and Nabucco West pipeline.
The Azerbaijani government also has its interests in Greece. State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) takes part in the bid for privatization of 65% assets of the Greek gas holding DEPA. The tender procedure had to be completed on May 10, but the Greek government postponed opening of the tender proposals till the end of May 2013. SOCAR's main competitor here is Russian Gasprom company.-0--

According to consumer complaints, it is difficult to find weight information on factory-produced bread, commonly known as "zavod çörəyi" in Azerbaijan. In many cases, bread packaging does not include weight details. Similarly, bread sold at smaller bakeries and tandir houses often lacks information apart from the price.
