Hourly Rate and Production Calendar Approved for Next Year
The hourly rate and the production calendar have been approved for next year.
According to the order of Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Azerbaijan, these indicators comply with the requirements of the Labor Code to all enterprises, offices and organizations, regardless of their legal status.
So holidays will be on January 1-2, January 20, March 8, March 20-24, May 9 and 28, June 15 and 26, July 6-7, September 12-13, November 9 and December 31. Due to holidays coinciding with weekends, for those who work 5 days a week, non-working days will be also on March 25, May 30 and June 27 and for those who work 6 days a week, on March 25 and June 27.
The labor standards presume work of 40 hours per week or 8 hours a day. In accordance with the Labor Code, the hourly rate on pre-holidays is shortened by 1 hour.
The following year will be a leap one, so there will be 366 days, of which 243 days are workdays. --17D-
