In 2014 frequency of meetings on Caspian status to grow
There is a hope that the new agreements on the Caspian Sea status will be reached at the summit , which is scheduled to be held in Russia next year, Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Halaf Halafov told journalists yesterday.
He said the Caspian Sea countries positions to the Caspian Sea status have become closer.
The working groups have been working on the draft document, which the presidents could sign at the summit in Russia. In quarter 1, 2014 the Foreign Ministers plan to meet before the summit to discuss the issues planned to be considered at the summit, Halafov said. He said the meeting of the working group will take place in Astana at the end of January.
In addition to the Caspian Sea status, the working group will discuss signing of the agreements on protection of biological resources and ecological issues. This is especially related to determination of the fishing zone.--0--

According to consumer complaints, it is difficult to find weight information on factory-produced bread, commonly known as "zavod çörəyi" in Azerbaijan. In many cases, bread packaging does not include weight details. Similarly, bread sold at smaller bakeries and tandir houses often lacks information apart from the price.

A trilateral meeting of the foreign ministers, transport ministers, energy ministers, and heads of customs services of Russia, Iran, and Azerbaijan is set to take place soon to discuss the progress of the Rasht-Astara railway project, a key element of the International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC). This was announced by Iran’s Ambassador to Russia, Kazem Jalali.
