In October of this year in Azerbaijan there were legalized 30,400 jobs. Compared to September, the average number of employees in the economy increased by this figure.
In October, the number of employees was 1,425,700 people. It is noteworthy that the trend of growth in the number of employees concerned not only private, but also public sector. Moreover, the number of public sector jobs in the public sector (16,100) surpassed the private sector (14,000).
It should be emphasized that the sharp increase (+1%) had almost no impact on the sector structure of employees. In October, in education worked 23.6% of the employees, in trade and repair of motor vehicles - 19.4%, in industry - 12.5%, 9.4% - in the provision of social health services, in construction - 7.6%, in transport and storage - 4.9%, in agriculture - 3%, etc.
The State Statistics Committee said that, despite the measures taken by the State Service of Labor and the Ministry of Taxes for the legalization of jobs, part of employees still work with the employer without signing an employment contract. - 08D-
