Job Fair for Graduates of Foreign Universities
The Ministry of Economic Development will hold on October 20 in Baku Business Center a job fair for graduates of foreign universities, who studied in the framework of the State Program on Education Abroad.
The press service of the Ministry of Economic Development told Turan that the fair offers jobs at about 50 local and foreign companies in various specialties in the areas of operation of oil and gas, energy, transport, communications, information technology, banking, tourism, agriculture and construction.
The State Program of Youth Education Abroad has been implemented since 2007. At the beginning of 2012 under the state program 23 countries enrolled 853 students mainly in the field of medicine, management, and ICT engineering. According to the Ministry of Education, a portion of the 322 graduates that studied abroad are enrolled in master's and doctoral programs, and the rest are employed in the public and private sectors. - 08B-

In recent days, there have been claims that bread prices in Azerbaijan have risen. Social media users report that the price of bread has increased by 5-10 qepiks. According to consumer complaints, it is difficult to find weight information on factory-produced bread, commonly known as "zavod çörəyi" in Azerbaijan. In many cases, bread packaging does not include weight details. Similarly, bread sold at smaller bakeries and tandir houses often lacks information apart from the price.
