Kazmunaigas reduced net profit by 8.1% to $2.4 billion
From January to September 2013 Kazakhstan oil and gas company KazMunaiGas (KMG) received a net profit of 362.3 billion tenge ($2.4 billion), down 8.1% against the same period in 2012, reads the consolidated report of the company.
During this period KMG profit totaled 2,127 trillion tenge ($13.8 billion, reduction by 1.9%), gross profit – 658.7 billion tenge ($4.3 billion, growth by 0.7%) and profit from the operation activities – 256.2 billion tenge ($1.7 billion, reduction by 11.1%).
According to the report, from January to September 2013 the assets of the national company increased by 9% up to 7,455 trillion tenge ($48.4 billion), KMG own capital increased by 9.8% up to 3,944 trillion tenge ($25.6 billion).
KMG is Kazakhstan’s national operator for exploration, production, refining and transportation of hydrocarbons. 100% shares of KMG are owned by the state joint stock company Samruk-Kazyna National Prosperity Fund.-0---
