Lands of State Agricultural Enterprises Used Illegally
The Ministry of Agriculture has published a report according to which almost all the agricultural lands transferred to permanent use by its subordinate crop and livestock farmers are illegally used by individuals.
Individuals captured 2,606.7 ha and local authorities have leased 18,438.4 hectares, the report said.
The tribal horse farm Dilbaz in the Agstafa region has been squandered - 15 hectares of its land were seized in 2000 and the remaining 932 hectares were leased to 5 persons in 2011. Nothing has also left from other state horse farms in the area - 570 hectares were transferred to the livestock complex Agstafa Milk and the remaining 30 hectares were captured. An illegal order of the Executive Power of the district also leased 260 hectares of grape nursery and 3,465 hectares of the state agricultural enterprise named after M. Mikailov.
The report stressed that the state border service was also engaged in the illegal use of land in state agricultural enterprises. By its instructions, 201 hectares of land of the state breeding farm Dostlug in the Beylagan region are used for building an airfield.
To stop these illegal actions the Ministry of Agriculture has asked the Cabinet and the judicial authorities. ----08B
