Life is expensive, and the market basket of each working Azerbaijani as of November 1 is 167.43 manat (AZN 2 more than as of 1 October). For pensioners it costs 150.84 and for children up to 14 years it costs 205.24 manat.
The alternative report of the Center for Economic Research says able-bodied citizens spend on food 103.10 AZN, pensioners - 92.37 AZN, and children - 112.61 manat. Non-food products respectively require 38.85, 35.86 and 73.9 manat. Services cost 25.48 manat, 22.61 manat and 17.73 manat respectively. The calculations were made on the basis of the methodology the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan on 30 April 2009.
Recall that under the law of Azerbaijan "On the cost of living in the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2012," the average cost of living is defined in AZN 108, including AZN 116 for working-age population, AZN 84 for pensioners and AZN 87 for children. - 17D-
