Micro-credit has grown over 10 months 18.4%
The micro-credit loan portfolio in Azerbaijan amounted to the end of October $ 765 million for 449.7 thousand clients. Since the beginning of the year the figure rose by 18.4% and for the year - 25 percent. Share of risky loans from the beginning of the year declined by 2 percentage points to 1%.
According to the Azerbaijan Microfinance Association (AMFA), the largest creditor to its members remains Accessbank, which accounted for 29.3% of all micro-credit.
Total observation was based on the 30 organizations involved in microfinance in the country. Their total assets are $ 4.36 billion. Of the micro-credit borrowers, 28% were women (7% less than at the end of last year).
