Ministry of Finance Decides on Housing for Military Personnel
Last week the Ministry of Finance Commission chaired by the Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov decided on the distribution of 222 apartments to servicemen, who impeccably served in the armed forces for 20 or more calendar years.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Finance, as of 23 September, 404 military personnel are waiting for their turn to receive housing in accordance with the criteria stipulated in the decree of the head of state of the Azerbaijan Republic about strengthening social protection measures for the Armed Forces of 28 December 2011.
The area and the financing allocated for the apartments are usually not reported.
Last week 304 people were received to the queue for housing.
Official reports of the Commission on housing for the military personnel have been published since 2012. Since that time, the allocation of 616 apartments has been announced, including 337 in 2012, 25 in 2013, and 32 in 2014. ------08D
